This is an album that stood the test of time, after 7 years it's still one of the albums I listen to the most. Everything about it is beautiful.

@Pndi, I agree, compared to their first album it's like listening to a completely different band.

Still so sad they had to disband...

Yeah, lets see what happens. They did this once before. We need another LP, not a tour...

I'm incredibly disappointed that they're going to completely ape Glassjaw and do a "big album 10 year

anniversary" thing, old lineup and all just to milk their WIITB fanbase when they've got almost an

entire scrapped album with no release. At least Glassjaw was touring/releasing new music instead of

just shrewdly cashing in... WIITB is a giant step backwards musically from all their other work, and

the whole thing is deeply ironic considering the band's own public distate for the album/fans

since they abandoned the band when SHTS came out and essentially broke them up.

How the same band who wrote "The Casket Of Roderic Usher" can go back and perform WIITB, with a straight face, is beyond me.

I've never seen an artistic leap this big between albums. And I mean in the good way.

This album is godly compared to their other.

Another interesting comparison is Flood of Red, between their first EP and first album.

Also Grey Matter.

I am such an enormous sucker for Palumbo spazzing out on a microphone.

gutted. this used to be one of my favourite albums. listened to it the other day and just felt depressed at how little it excites me now. the guitars are just constantly forgettable riffs in the background that have nothing to do with the songs going on in front of them. other than ink. that riff actually has a bit of purpose. i wont condemn it just yet because i know how much i used to love it. will give it another go soon. casket of roderic usher is the only song that got my blood pumping when i last listened.
