Is it thaaaaaat weird? idk, sounds like Flipper’s self-mocking nihilism / TJL (as the obvious nod) which is 80s sludgy noise rock. I’m not sure it reinvents the wheel beyond that
I know it’s sacrilege to say that around here (for ‘reasons’) and it’s a bloody good album regardless, just saying.

The production itself is actually weird in a very pleasant, organic way, but musically wise it's not that groundbreaking, although it combines its influences in a magnificent way and like Hawks said the execution is top notch
