This is nice on first listen! but yeah, I guess I am one of the person that were mentioned in the review... I definitely miss the chaos and dissonance and wonder if the accesibility will reduce its longevity!

Change, however subtle, is always a double-edged sword isn't it? Only time will tell if the accessibility you mention might compromise its longevity. For now, it has a strong replay value for me.

I liked the melodies hidden behind the riff onslaught, but it got a bit tiring towards the middle of the album. Will have to take this on small doses.

I would agree there, I really like the mix and I think the way they melded the heaviness and synths and stuff definitely worked, but at the same time the wall-of-sound thing gets tiring to my brain. The atmosphere it creates is top notch though.
