Brutus just dropped a rly nice one too.

Not as good as their first imo but I fucking love the last 3 songs off here. In Your Wake especially is just amazing sludge

I have no problem saying that the debut is one of the best metal records of the last 20 years. This doesn’t quite stack up to that but it’s still really damn good. Suffer Alone still goes stupid hard. What a great track.

One of the currently active bands I'm the most excited about for sure, hard to imagine them putting out a shitty release at this point.
This one edges out Mire just a little bit for me I think, I've listened to both a shitton and I did like Mire more at first but the more I dive into this one the more I love it.

Holy shit this is GOOD. Came across this totally at random, and is probably some of the finest metal I've listened to in a long time. Just the right mix of delicate, atmospheric moments and disgusting violent breakdowns. Looks like I gotta listen to Mire.

Yeah these guys are really good, if you liked this I suggest you check out Der Weg Einer Freiheit

This is sick, shout out Maniac for recommending this to me today.
It's like Rosetta met Old Man Gloom, they fell in love, went back in time, and had a baby that grew up listening to 90s Swedish dm, Norwegian bm, and American metalcore
