Try living in London between October and March and you won't say that anymore

Love playing this in Halloween parties. Most ppl like the soft sounds and don’t realize the lyrics ain’t about anything positive

i feel like you can get away with some darker themes at a Halloween party anyways.

I’m assuming going on a full discog run of these guys is worth it? Anything that should be skipped at all?

They have a few different eras. It’s hard to say which ones someone might like or dislike. My favorite era is The Head On The Door through Wish.

I sat in an office with the lights off and the blinds pulled down with nothing but the night sky in front of me and I played this album. This is October.

Ashamed to say it, but today was the first time I jammed The Cure — at least an entire album. And this shit is brilliant. They just have such an extensive discog that I’m not sure how to tackle it. I’m thinking just start at the beginning and go chronological, but I read their earlier stuff is pretty poppy?? Not sure if I’ll be down with that.

seventeen seconds, faith and porno are far less poppy than this

So it’s been over ten years since their last album. Did they decide to just be a touring band and stop recording new music? I mean, I get it and they already have such an extensive discog, but I don’t see how musicians could just go without creating new content.

They just released a few live albums. Anniversary: 1978 - 2018 Live In Hyde Park London (Live) and Curaetion-25: From There To Here | From Here To There (Live). At least I think they were both just released.

They play for like 3 hours, and the original emo kids voice is so unexpectedly great still
