Violator and Disintegration for the first time on the same day, Demon? Damn! They both pretty much changed my life as a music fan at the respective time I got into them, so I can't really imagine how that would be for me.

Yeah really been slacking on this classics, two bands where I liked the odd few bits & pieces I’d heard previously so thought they worth trying. Not sure I should’ve jammed Violator 5 times almost consecutively mind, haha
This one might take a bit longer to digest, good start though.

Can't blame you for the Violator binge, it's such an engaging record. Back then I was mainly listening to metal and that album showed me how intoxicating and atmospheric a pop album of that kind could be.
I remember listening to this one and in the first minutes of Plainsong I was like "okay, this is ... important", which rarely happens to me that instantly. Now it's my third favorite album. And it keeps on giving.
