You do crazy things when you've reached your 30s and stupid things like careers and children displace music, life's real priority #1. Nah but the real reason is my car's stero system died the day before a long road trip, and I'd rather have that than no music at all.

Lol good review. Album is probably terrible

no that is the gathering

Lol very refreshing to see an "exasperated longtime fan" review for something that isn't Weezer for once, good work Mr Well
Thank you scientist>>

This band is the magic the gathering of music
if by this you mean the best band on the planet then absolutely no
came here to wager that this will be the worst cover of 2022

Is the summary a Modest Mouse reference? lol

yes! sorry, i was playing a v dumb game with rowan where we smashed taylor swift and modest mouse lyrics against each other, and i didn't have any better ideas of a summary, so i used his finest submission for this
no regrets tbh

I’ve used phone speakers in that situation as well but it is frustrating when you have highway noise.

I will maybe probably jam this I think
Tbh I dig Coheed but only in small doses before their cheese overwhelms me

Well as soon as the album finished I got a flat tire, so I blame Coheed & Cambria 100%.
|
| |
Damn. That’s annoying. Have had to change a few tires in my time.

This was my second flat in as many weeks too. Couldn't believe it. Always fun having a car full of bored fussy toddlers/babies while on a narrow highway shoulder watching 18 wheelers come within a couple feet of taking off your sideview mirror. Thanks Coheed.

I actually love some of the songs on this album. I also hate the rest. I wish Coheed could he consistent

Storm was right that the absence of Claudio's old unpredictable vocal delivery is one of the biggest things holding them back in the last decade... I do think it's a decision based on his ability to perform the songs though

As a longtime fan I really like this album. I always dig Coheed’s poppier stuff in general along with their proggiest and more rock oriented tunes. This seems lien a pretty divisive album but I like the change of pace they’ve done here. The last 3 songs are great and the title track is simply aeromedical as the review said. I think my sleeper favorite is A Disappearing Act and I know a lot of people will take issue with that but I just really dig that outro.

Why does this album cover look like one of the promo shots for a season of Stranger Things?
