This could be better than it is, I guess we all agree on this, but also is as good as it gets to be by merging sax as definitive instrument on a black metal band.

For more black metal sax, get some Aenaon in your life.
They've got a new album coming this year too.

"For more black metal sax, get some Aenaon in your life." OK but is it played by an effective band member? Is it present in every track or integrated in the ablum's concept. That's what I mean. Please answer. tks

One of their permanent members plays sax, make of that what you will.
And in some regards, I'd argue they integrate as well if not better than White Ward.

Having my first spin off this now, gonna have to save the closer for after work
Very mixed feelings. I feel there's a lot of, uh, objective? progression from the band, but at the sacrifice of a fair dash of character

Took some listens to get it but this is an excellent album. No complaints about black/jazz transitionswhatsoever, I think they are very well done.

Why is this rated so high? It's like half pretty good and half absolutely awful. Track 2 is the worst thing I've heard this year, that clean singing is beyond atrocious.
