stoned/happy accident are reminding me more of Indigo de Souza than phoeB (without sounding 100% like either) and this feels like a good sign

I think I had had unrealistic expectations for this, cuz the singles were all true to life sadgurrl bangers. Maybe I need more time with it, but so far Feebie>>>>

*hard 3, but with more potential to go up than down

idk what it is that makes indie folk singers so obsessed to churning out soundtracks for documentaries about other people moving house, but

Still need to give this a full spin. My impression based on partial listens (I keep getting interrupted) is that this is very similar to her debut, which means continued excellence but also perhaps some diminishing returns. Take that with a grain of salt though because I haven't heard this front-to-end yet and the Atari/Slex 5 combo means something to me.

Well Sowing I haven't heard the debut but I can tell you there is a decent change up in sound toward the end of the album so I wouldn't judge too quickly!

Not sure where I would land on this overall but I could listen to those lovely guitar bends on happy accident forever

Yeah that one’s really great. I did find the rest of this a bit more samey on second spin but still good. Stoned/Happy Accident are definitely a necessary change of pace/sound, would have liked a couple more tracks like those but that might have lessened their relative impact. Hm…

I looked at the name and stupidly thought "is this project related to Anberlin?"

For that, I will give this a listen
