Chorus of Let Me Disappear is good until that breakdown which might the worst mixed thing I’ve heard in my life… why are the electronic samples three times louder than every other instrument

yeah that song is ass. dante is the only one i like the rest are booty. don't even like afterimage anymore. most of the ep feels like streambait cuz these songs blow. enjoy the fractional pennies you got from my streams ig

Oh god they fumbled hard with the new ep. Let Me Disappear could have been somewhat good but that breakdown ruined it. I was hoping they'd improve on mixing the electronic synth shit with their heavier sound but nope, the way they try to mix both styles comes off most times as either sloppy or just lazy.

Dante is the only good track but production is super irksome, so even that is kinda hard to listen to.

only jammed once, so maybe i'm being hyperbolic but i swear the production sounded worse than Node

genuinely don’t understand how a group of established musicians could release something with such mediocre production

The more I listen to Obsidian, the more it has cemented itself as my favorite album of the Marcuslane era. I hated this album when it first came out but it has seriously wormed into my brain.

Relistened front to back recently and I think Cypher is still my favorite. It just grooves so well, especially in the last chorus.
