Bloody hell, people saying this is better than Radical and insta-fives abound… looking forward to jamming this next week when I have the time

I had no idea who this band was until today but I already prefer it to Radical. It's a personal preference thing though; this is way more melodic which really plays to my music taste.

Feel like I need to lube up my ear canals before this first listen

Through front half and it's exceeding giant expectations

Honestly I’m glad they picked those three songs to be the singles. I was thinking the album would be a bit tamer than Empty Black and my expectations were tempered
But nope, the 3 singles are arguably the weaker tracks and the album fucking rips from beginning to end. Expectations: smashed

I actually really like the softer songs tbh. It not only brings a nice dynamic to the record but the songs are legit great on their own.

This band has a slight post hardcore feel to it I think. That and melody make them less like ETID and may appeal more to those that lean that direction with their preferences.
Listening again today properly and this is hella good for sure. Not sure if it’s on par with EB but time will tell.

The part at 1:50 of “And It’s Still Too Loud” is the kind of shit I live for

These guys might be the current kings of melodic breakdowns, if you can even call them that. It feels like every breakdown/drop in this is going to having awesome guitar work, chord progressions, and top tier clean and harsh vocals. They’re the highlights of the album for me
I think they’ve just masted the ability to be heavy and catchy at the same time

I totally didn’t expect to like this more than Empty Black but goddamn
Maybe it’s the honeymoon phase but there were no points where I was disinterested and they somehow got catchier

That’s how I feel. I don’t remember liking Empty Black this much out if the gate, but it’s hard to say if this will continue to grow on me like EB did
I think most of us are just psyched that they followed up with another S tier album

Great Review! Yeah, this album rocks and I think it is going to get better every listen for me. I am not too much a fan of the melodic parts but they'll probably grow on me. In a Room Where Everything Dies is excellent though.

God damn this is so good.
Empty Black is by far my favorite -core album of the last 10 years or so, and this honestly has the potential to top it. Brent sounds better than ever, and Nick cranked the riffs up to 11 on this one. The vocals and riffs are the standout parts of this band, so extra heaps of the best parts is all I could ever ask for. Very happy today.
