Incredibly solid as expected. Vigna is an absolute wizard on guitar and Dolan sounds more evil than ever.

Shed the Light is an early favorite. Absolutely slays. Oh and that solo towards the end of When Halos Burn... whewwww m/

I'm only beginning to dissect it, but so far a disappointment. Sure disappointing Immo is better then 95% of shit that's being recorded nowadays, but still. So far not as good as Atonement. It's way darker then the last few albums, but I'm not sure if it makes it better. Gotta spin it again... and again... and again...

If they trimmed 5ish tracks off this it would be a 4.5something tier. Some of these solos sound insipid as fuck. The groove disso riffs and the beastly drum work do so much saving here.

" Dolan sounds more evil than ever "

Easily one of my favorite DM vocalists. Probably the most decipherable gutturals in the business.

It's mind boggling what are those two farts for: "Abandoned" and "And the Flames Wept". Apart from the useless intro on "Majesty and Decay" they've never done this kind of gimmicky bullshit. I also don't understand why there are so many short tracks instead of fewer songs but 1-3 minutes longer. After the second single I feared that it would be the case. First single was excellent, second one raised so many flags for me and now it all comes true. This is probably the worst album in history of Immo... but still gonna spin it at least a few dozen times more before I'm done with it.

Album slays as expected, band is definitely sounding comfortable in their sound and that's always been fine with me.

I love the color palette too, namely the brown tones. Eliran Kantor always does a good job.
