2011 for me was Unexpect Fables, BTBAM Parallax 1, The Devil Wears Prada Dead Throne, Symphony X Iconoclast, Times of Grace The Hymn of a Broken Man. So yeah 2011 was a pretty big year for me, that's already two of my sixteen 5s with Fables being in my top three. That and BTBAM wouldn't be in my wheel house if not for this site, and it happened by chance from front page browsing...if Unexpect released just weeks earlier or later I might've missed that masterpiece.
Oh, and Converge is also to be owed to sputnikmusic. I probably would've missed the entirety of hardcore if not for this site. I'll never forget the first moment I listened to Jane Doe on my HD 201s connected to my computer having no idea what the fuck was being played through my earphones. So thanks.
