I knew I was in for something special soon as I heard that breakdown on the opening track. Garrett is absolutely incredible and so is the production. So punchy

Second sun, til we have faces and the t/t my faves atm. Trilogy too but I've heard it so many times at this point.

Man this album gives me goosebumps. Can you end an album better than the closer on the T/t? Not sure how

Yea they've done it before on every album lol, each closer before this album is better than it

im inclined to rank the t/t as one of their better closers as neither depths 2/3 have ever really blown me away (despite the former coming off my fav album of theirs), but inhabit the wound is definitely still king in that regard. t/t isnt like a perfect song tho it's payoff isnt quite enough for me. need more lows and less of that machine gun guitar thing it feels kinda awkward and forced within the song

Yea for sure, it's awesome how much he has improved over the years. love some of the highs he does here. I don't think he has done the more traditional highs before this one. They were always more shouty I think

Second Sun is absolutely incredible and is definitely in the running for my favorite song of theirs.

Closer was definitely underwhelming after the absolutely mammoth Depths III.

Screaming vocals kind of remind me of Most Precious Blood.
