^ Right on. I'd probably only cut Peace and Tranq. and Daggers. They are both perfectly fine as bonus tracks or B sides or whatever. Rest all great songs.

"Peace and Tranquility" is the album low point, IMO... straight-out think it fails as a song. Yet, I STILL think that this is their best since CtS... the new one is definitely more alive, diverse and invigorated, but I still reckon this has the greater amount of higher quality songs.

It feels more bloated, not just because it's a double album (VERY rare to have no-skips on those), but also because it lacks a kinda emotional/tectural variety. But the highlights (many, IMO) are awesome.

Yes, very bloated, but if you take most of the songs on an individual level (which i've chosen to do), they're quite excellent

For the record, I don't dislike P&T, it's just if I HAD to cut something. I find this record very compelling all the way through, despite the many accusations of "bloat". I think I prefer it to Marrow Deep, but more time will be needed.

I really like this album but this is my critique with a lot of the songs, especially the back half. Its like they stitched a chorus from one song to a bridge of another and sometimes it seems kinda jarring. Added to the bloat, it kinda seems like they were making songs just for the sake of making a double album.
