Versus one more time my mother's hug

A private firm of equity

Dealt cancer into my family"

Oh man "Invading" was an early album highlight huh? Nothing else has blown my socks off, but I'm approaching the final two tracks. Could be boring, could be a "Goodbye Sky Harbor", we'll see.

Aight those blew by very pleasantly while I was working on some coding for work. I think headspace plays a bigger factor than normal for me. I was in a sour mood earlier and this positively annoyed me, but now I'm gobbling it up. A couple moments are a big clumsy/saccharine for me (like the whole second song) but that's a taste thing. Elsewhere, the earnest melodrama shines. I'm sure I'm just inexperienced in the indie emo bubble, but I do get some early Jimmy Eats World vibes. Cool stuff.

This feels like the record all of their previous work has been leading up to. A definitive artistic statement from a band finally at their creative peak.

Infinite Josh drags a little but can become sort of hypnotic if you let it; it's a good track either way. Fewer Afraid is genuinely perfect, so I'm excited for you to sink your ears into it. Pay attention to the lyrics on that one too if you can.
