Brainwashed is good but I don't like it as much as the debut, definitely their last good album tho

And the Guardian gave it a 4 too, apparently

|

apparently two of them left to form a band with the original guitarist from Bring Me The Horizon

|
| |

Definitely digging this more than So What for sure. At least this doesn't feel like the same track 12 times and it has a bit more energy.
Also Nervous would be so good if not for that horrendous "I'm Nervoouuus" hook.

Counting Days was pretty cool but the vox was pretty monotone, it was nice seeing curtis jamming out again tho.

I've decided that this isn't that bad. Its decent. Soft 3.

Its decent but a little half hazard. They can definitely still write tight riffs and meaty breakdowns but some of the poppier elements and slam poetry esque sections feel shoehorned
|
| |
For sure. There's some REAAALLY corny parts on this thing and the lyrics are probably the worst they've ever been, but the riffs are good enough to ignore most of that for me.

No Defeat For The Brave is a fucking banger btw.

Exactly my feelings. Lyrics are at their worst but the music is much improved over the last one.

I've come to expect nothing more than corny lyrics from any metalcore band
i just want it to riff and bang
