Yeah Milo it definitely wraps up the content nicely, songs just aren’t as punchy but then I guess the beginning is a bit more sinister and has a lot more conflict and personal battles where the end is more resigned to doing what he can ‘throwing his net in a fish-less lake’.
Some the lyrics on this are really cool. The first time he talks to the black dog with the vocoder he’s being corrupted by sex and good times and fake happiness - ‘dials for sale, smiles for sale, anything but the real one’
