Deadpan vocals are ok for a while but they get old pretty quick. Album was alright.

Grats on the feature Susan.

Thanks.

I'm usually all for that kind of vocals, but I'll admit they do wear thin on this. Mostly because there's not a lot of variation here to break it up. Needs some fast-faced tracks.

This album is actually better than it should be because by god it's generic beyond belief and that vocalist needs a lot of work, but the music is really quite pleasant despite these flaws.

My newsfeed has been so clogged by poorly titled shrapnel articles following these guys' every move that I refused to jam anything from them. No idea who they're fucking at the top of the biz, but maybe I'll check now hmm

"wrong. I been reppin' post-punk on this site even since Graveyard was still making that same post-punk list for the 5th+ time."

they did get signed to 4AD, who probably spends 98% of their budget on marketing.

You really think so? I always dug Graveyard but, well, he was a bit standoffish, I suppose.

He's still around every now and then, but much like many of those old guard dudes, he just never comments on anything.

If the fella's got a plethora of post-punk lists lying around somewhere, I'd like to think we'd've been pals.

bit of a turd this one - vocals an exercise in how to detract from some ok Sonic Youth instrumentals

less Baxter Dury more Baxtress Dreary
