I start to believe that you are misogynist. All your reviews are disgusting, you always rate good work as bad. are you really professionals or you just have a problem with women in music?

@The Moonchild:

Also considering how ridiculously high the bar was set with NFR, y'all can't be surprised this album is... Erm, polarizing. Even Honeymoon was closer to being universally loved when it got released.

Except that Honeymoon was fucking amazing.

Not only misogynism, Lana haters have a strong overlap with homophobes and racists.

"overly sterile production that has plagued her music since Born to Die"

Ultraviolence's production is tops! You're loco broco.

I didn't love this on first listen - all her albums take time to take in properly. Give it time.

I did give it time and it failed to come off as anything other than boring, rushed and forced.

Phoebe doesn’t sell a softly idealized version of America to Brazilians so I doubt it

Funny, because BTD and Honeymoon I loved immediately. The same could be said to an extent for LFL, although there the deal's a bit different because it's not as consistent as them.

See, for UV and NFR, I agree: THOSE you need to take time with and be patient. It all falls into place once you hear her do them live, and then re-listen to the studio versions. Totally different dimensions, and it's so cool!

But now for this COCC stuff... idk it's like she was doing it mostly for herself and no one else.
