yeah i mean this album has like 8 or 9 of my favorite songs ever made by anybody lol, but the other songs that are a little short of that tier i still really really love are essential to the flow and context of the album, and snowblood is in that latter tier for me but it whips and bangs and i could not imagine this album without it (despite prior discourse divisionary is probably in that tier too lol but i love that song and its chorus is amazing, and scorpion hymn ranks pretty low for me too but again whips and bangs)

I really enjoyed the Eidolon/Remnant one-two punch. Vanish Canvas I didn't actually find myself seeking out as much. The version w/ Courtney slaps tho
And hot damn the deluxe version songs! Nigh to Silence>Psalm of Sedition>Sol Absentia possibly as my favorites out of the entire record+deluxe

i am kinda baffled by the courtney feature lol she adds absoutely nothing
eidolon/remnant are the magic tho yeah i hope the next stuff pushes the ground those tracks cover forward more. altho i lean more towards vanish canvas on the whole, remnants 2nd chorus is my favorite moment in erras discog since jt joined the band (altho the final chorus of nigh to silence is right up with it absolutely gorgeous stuff)

I don't like the Courtney feature at all! But I do agree that the deluxe version songs are SICK as FUCK dude, Nigh to Silence is outstanding. I'm hoping they can keep that fire going with the next album

electric twilight slaps ass. one of my favorite songs ever made. shit is just so FUN. have never heard another song in this genre that even remotely taps into the thrill of psychedelics musically the way that one does and its hook is up with the best ive ever heard on any song
