Opus alone made this worth the wait. People also should stop crying about the new versions of the old singles because if they hadn't rerecorded them we would've barely gotten any new material. If you like the old versions go listen to them on youtube or spotify.

The point is the album would have been better had the better versions of the same songs been packaged in. These newer versions sound neutered by comparison

This is a big grower. Worth getting used to the changes to the singles; Sunglasses isn't as much a standout here, but it works, I think. Wouldn't trade it for the intensity of the original, but I like the sad/dejected vocal performance in contrast to how big the song is and how much (too much) hype it got the band. (Like Isaac's maybe sick of it, esp. singing that one brutal line from the original.) I don't think including the OG Sunglasses would really improve the album that much, I think it has other problems. Still ridiculous and over-the-top and very, very fun.
