Its very midtempo. To add a little more speed/tempo shifts here and there, and some leads/ hooks could help. That said I really dig this breathed cold vocals, the mix and the sound is also cold and filthy at the same time. Like, the concept is really cool - death and ice.

This is definitely a more modern take on it. More obvious “hooks” and stuff. I think their last LP is probably their best but everything they did is sick. 4th Crusade is probably my personal favorite.

I honestly don't get how anyone doesn't get the comparison between this and (early) Bolt Thrower, but whatever.
You just may want to look into Realm Of Chaos. I think it's their best.

Almost every song stops on a dime for some predictable riff that kills the momentum of the song. Looking forward to seeing how their sound will evolve considering this album had some older tracks from the EP.
