These guys just announced that, since they can’t tour, they just started work on LP #5.

Holy shit, that’s badass
I was worried about smaller bands like them having to put up with no touring so I’m glad they’re not planning on stopping

Relistened to this with fresh ears and despite my earlier comment, I think the production here is fantastic, and this is instrumentally excellent.
I just don't gel with the vocals. I think the half-scream half-clean vocals are overused. The screams have a lot of passion but not a lot of bite, for lack of a better word. There's a ton of atmosphere but too often the melodies (vocal and otherwise) are buried in a way that mitigates the emotional appeal.
idk this is super subjective and I'm real glad this isn't another generic -core album, it's just not for me. Willow and the closer are real nice though.

Band will forever deserve more praise. They've been going for so long and they still seem so unknown.

This and Braille certainly gained them a lot of fans, but they definitely deserve even more recognition

I love how Ending Cycle feels like a sequel/sister song to Clockwork on Braille. Both songs have some of my favorite lyrics. Josh has always been a good lyricist but he definitely improved on this record.

This album is amazing. The year before Church Road released another amazing post-hxc album by We Never Learned to Live. Combine that with Phoxjaw’s newest and UK post-hxc is killing it.

We Never Learned to Live has released two incredible full lengths. I like them even more than Palm Reader.

Had a marathon session of these guys’ entire discography and it’s pretty incredible how consistent they’ve been since their inception. Bad Weather is still super enjoyable. Still a shame how they‘ve never gotten the recognition or attention that other bands in the genre have gotten.
