it's not like mind-blowing or anything but definitely fun to see him doing his thing in a more intimate setting

I stumbled upon MNDSGN a few years back, specifically his song "Cosmic Perspective." That song is honestly amazing I can't believe I did not explore more

you and me both 1/2man hahaha. "big mistake, huge!" pots rec'd oblique kitchen yesterday and y'boi seriously about to buy the vinyl, I'm in love. check that one out dude!

intimate teebs set in an an apartment sounds divine robert, I'm envious of your relative. 2011 teebs at that! I've seen teebs play a couple of times at concert venues, it's not the most exciting as he's just kind of DJing his own tunes with a little bit of improv, but just getting to hear his tracks on a big, properly tuned sound system is good enough for me

it's certainly a bit more interesting than, say, live flylo or live tokimonsta, who just DJ thru ableton on an MPD (at least when I saw them). both are talented live performers and quite a bit of fun to dance to, but that MNDSGN show I saw takes the cake on that kind of live/dj hybrid set personally

he played for about 50-60 mins, first half was some seriously cool beats improv thru ableton with some midi device, then he segued into a Serato DJ set of lowridin' boogie a la wizards - boogie slyde and ronnie hudson - west coast poplock, just slam cuts every minute or two into a new track. probably the most fun I've had attending a bar gig that wasn't indie/punk
