Yeah cds are just perfect for me. Greater space capacity, easy to store, easy to display, lightweight, playing them isn’t as dangerous for the media and you can put them on iTunes.
Also a lot of what I listen to was only pressed on cd or cd and cassette so it works out. And I’m obsessed with bonus tracks and b sides and such and they’re usually on cds only

CDs are an underrated format, you get lossless quality music off em and as long as your not being a dipshit with em they last forever. Got a sizable collection still

I can see arguments for vinyl and CDs both. I love both. I just think of vinyl as a money pit that I can't afford to fall into anytime soon. lol I've been picking up more CDs because I have a changer in my new used car.
