it’s just a compilation of their 12” releases up to that point, if you’re familiar with the Deep Sea Dweller compilations you’ve already heard all the tracks.
it’s most notable for being the first release full of information about their mythology, which they would expand upon in later releases.

great review, thanks for filling in some sput core blindspots, never heard of and do indeed love this. recently watched teh documentary 'Modulations' on youtube charting the origins of electronic music and rise of dnb. shot like a counterculture 90s doc and gets heady at times, I love it.

director is interesting, she was unsatisfied that her culture films had been ideologically reified and neutered by the spectacle so she pivoted to activism documentary like that aid flotilla to Gaza that resulted in a deadly raid over international waters
