I wonder how much influence Mick Gordon had on the direction. Can see him getting a lot more production work after this though, he's not just gonna be the guy who writes music for video games but he's gonna have legit sway in the general music world.
I'm sure I've heard that Moa Kikuchi got lines on Kingslayer too but can't verify this.

He already kinda does. This thing has his influence all over it and if bmth is doing it everyone will be doing it within the next couple years.
With that being said, I find his style to be pretty mechanical and cookie cutter sounding, and I don't think the style would go over anywhere near as well in different hands. This benefits greatly benefits from being only 32 minutes.
