Holy shit Pictureboard actually came out. Seems there are some other new demos on disk 6.

I'll die on a hill that most of the Hybrid Theory demos are better then the official release.

Is there any stuff on here with their original vocalist Mark Wakefield on here? I'd be interested to hear that.

Man, I'd never heard of Mark Wakefield. He dipped out just a bit too early there...unless Chester was really the key to bigger success? He apparently still got co-writing credit for a few songs on Hybrid Theory.

Pictureboard should've been on the official album along with She Couldnt
|
| |
He's on the Xero demos I think

Who in fucks name is Mark Wakefield lol
|

Must be thinking of Mark Wahlberg

That's what I thought

She Couldn’t wasn’t released because of a Mos Def sample.

Spun this for the first time in idk, maybe 10 years. Kinda wild how well it holds up, not only in my enjoyment of it but also how good it sounds. I know nostalgia is playing a role here but damn.

Only thing that kinda bothers me about the review is that the summary quotes "Runaway" which is one of Chester's least favorite songs, mostly cause he didn't write it. Other than that, killer work

"Blue" and "So Far Away" are such cool tracks.

Is this a 4.4 on nostalgia alone or is this more than just Hybrid Theory?
|

"the more i push the more i'm pulling the weight" sounds like doing muscle-ups

@ghostb1rd Some if it’s nostalgia, but it has a lot of worthwhile unreleased tracks that would add to Hybrid Theory. It’s definitely not a 4.4 if you are listening to all through though. It’s much more worthwhile than your typical anniversary compilation.

Runaway is the goofiest hybrid song lyric wise
|
| |
The Reanimation version is god mode though
