Yeah I was wondering how they were gonna play that track live. They pulled it off imo.
The livestream was great but I was kinda disappointed in the setlist. Idk but I expected the new album in full.

I always found that with Touché Amoré, I need to give them multiple listens before I can really decide and their songs don't die quick after it clicks. Lament was the most accessible one though after Stage Four, feel like these guys are getting more accessible with each release.

Couple songs on here died quick for me. Reminders and Forecast I rarely come back to. But overall, the highlights here are among their best songs to date.
Title track live is breathtaking. Absolutely love the cinematic animations in the background of each song

Come Heroine and Limelight are my 2 favorite tracks on this album, and I believe that they're one of the best Touché Amoré put out from a purely technical perspective.
Still, listening to Touché Amoré tracks in isolation doesn't feel right. The whole album at one go is essential for the full experience.

Where's the love for Exit Row?
Still not sure what they were thinking with the closer and his intonation. "The people I thought would reach out, turns out they would nooooooooot".

"The people I thought would reach out
Turns out they would not
On the anniversaries
Of the worst kind of days
My phone was mostly silent
One excuse was "giving space"
It's not like I wrote some lyrics
Detailing the exact events
Some profit off the album
And most I just consider friends
But that's the way it goes"
idk which is worse, this or that dua lipa verse about mansplaining

I have not listened to this in months and I feel like it will not be a pleasant revisit

It’s better than I remembered, can’t exactly rate it yet but it’s higher than my previous 3.0 for sure.
