check the lock is a fucking cool ass song and the little kendrick throwback on body for the pile was a nice touch.

horror-hop is a genre I didn't know existed or wanted but here I am
|

I have made a habit of never listening to singles on their own. 3 days left~
I do the same with movie trailers. I like going in blind and getting the full experience.

I believe it's called horrorcore?

I think the only song that slightly reminds of Death Grips is Body and Blood
Anyway this is cool, although singles on last year's were fucking nuts, this is oddly enough more consistent in mood, tune, etc.

new to these guys, so forgive if I misstep on any assumptions/feel free to correct me, of course
so, my observations:
1.) Diggs sounds like Ice-T and Del the Funky combined, but flow can be like 3-4x more rapid
2.) I'm not a huge fan of industrial overall... just here and there, especially when it bleeds over into other genres that are generally more favored - but the 'beats'/music is very well done, and well timed, in different ways, with Diggs' lyrical flexibility... I tend to like alt/art-hiphop, from what little I can find
3.) I got to 'die about it' for not gettin into this group sooner... this album slays like -core without a prepositional phrase... or like maybe grindgaze (I wonder if that genre exists, cuz I'd like to hear it, along with some 'nightcore')
anyway. nice stuff, glad this exists, can't wait to hear more, etc. yada
