like i love the highs, it never reaches the lows of Gore, but everything else is just kinda solid & nothing more for me

I love this album, but it did seem to lack staying power for me for some reason. Every time I listen I still love it but I’m rarely motivated to listen. That said, can’t wait to hear these songs live when they come to LA in April. (And bonus, with Gojira!)

Same here. This happened with Mastodon's Emperor of Sand too. Great album, but after 1-2 listens I forget it exists for a few months lol.
