I think my favourite part of the album is when An Cat Dubh transitions into Into the Heart

Yeah the way it shifts is so haunting and beautiful at the same time

That's one of the songs I wish people who aren't into them would try its an amazing cut

Edge goes hard on this album, he's straight up Johnny Marr on the Electric Co

Edge is probably my favorite thing about this band. I've always really liked his guitar style specifically on the Joshua tree but electric co definitely has my favorite playing from him

Besides bullet the blue sky of course

I've always been a huge Edge fan. Great player, great singer, nice guy in general. He just never lets loose anymore

Edge has a great voice agreed. Honestly his singing on miracle drug (off of dismantle) is better than bonos. I don't blame him for not letting loose. The songs in general are too toned down nowadays anyways

Miracle Drug is one of the best 00s U2 songs just for that bridge, agreed. That may be true but its their collective fault that the music is so boring now so I lay blame equally

Kite, Miracle, City of Blinding Lights and Moment of Surrender are really the only ones I love, maybe Breathe too. Atomic Bomb overall is a shite album tho

ye Miracle Drug is one of their best from 2000 on.

Kite is one of my fave songs of all time, probably my #1 fave U2 song tbh

This album is killer too. Electric Co. and An Cat Dubh are so good.

Unforgettable Fire, With or Without You and New Years Day are probably mine.

Kinda generic picks but I grew up on the sorta 'greatest hits' record.

Pride is overplayed to fuck, all those other ones are fair shouts tho, a lot of their deep cuts get more interesting once you find the stories behind them (One Tree Hill was a massive case of this for me, grew from a skip to a top 5 song within like a day)
