Thanks Lichtbringer.

"Crossroads is amazing."

Yeah, it's probably the catchiest song. Although I love its Borknagar-esque vibe, I prefer the more spacey tracks such as 'Incense Swirls' or the last three songs. 'Automata 1980' is awesome.

Cheers Nocte.

I asked the staff squad, in order for the album to have a bit more exposure around here, since I believe it will be one of the most underrated/divisive albums of the year.

these dudes are one of the more interesting metal bands of the past decade IMO. I really need to dive deep into this, but i've spent countless hours with Oi Magoi, and Mayhem in Blue, and both those albums are gems

You will probably be surprised by the album's spacey approach, but give it a try. It's one of those albums that takes time to sink.

"jeez these vocals are lifeless"

and this is a big reason

Those "lifeless" vocals are totally purposeful, I love them. This album is meant to be divisive and that's great.

I speak only for myself brother, I'm sure a lot of people will agree with you. This approach is quite different from their previous work.

I like the musicianship and instrumentals but it's dying for some eccentric or rough vocals. Doesn't have to be Unexpect level but c'mon this guy is basically providing an audiobook service

Reminds me of a mix of Cynic, Enslaved and Vola. Pretty good background listening.

I was in the mood for Carpenter Brut and read that hsn tuned in the 80s. What i heard was astonishing, especially the last track. Got bored slightly in devil's spot but the rest is phenomenal. Second best for this year

Yeah, last track is awesome, I'd love to hear an alternative version of that song produced by Alan Parsons.
