"Every album from these guys sounds the same"
Compare Palaces to this, it's abysmal

passable album but not one I'll probably ever listen to again.

...difficult for them to recatch their glory days, it seems.

Did the first 2 tracks. Seemed uninventive but vocals were amazing.

Randy delivers as usual, but everything else is plain boring and repetitive

This band would win so much if they experiment more...Blythe s has it in him...

Great review. Lots of negative pub about this album floating around in cyberspace.

I wonder if is Morton who's holding back this band from it's true potential, they have been playing way too safe for way too long

"i still like ashes tbh"
palaces especially is a legit masterpiece.
the production may be shit but new american gospel is still fantastic, just has awesome songs. ashes is just super solid all around.
the rest is forgettable except wrath

Palaces through Sacrament was their best stuff. Everything else is just decent. Palaces is definitely their best. I actually prefer the original over the remaster.

New American Gospel is mad underrated
|
| |
Though I really dig Sacrament as well, I'd put New American Gospel and Wrath over it
Don't get why people seem to dislike those albums, seeing they're the most vicious LoG releases
I'm putting it down to average rating bias

Everything up to Wrath is solid

Even Resolution has some cool bangers here and there, but it's all downhill from that one

One of my favorites albums of all time for sure
|
| |
I'll stand up for Resolution any day, there are some great fucking tracks on that album.
|
| |
If I'm being honest this is the first LoG album I probably won't revisit ever again

Resolution sounds like they recorded it in the back of a semi on the pacific coast highway. Some good songs on there tho yeah.
