What are you on about bruh, this has had virtually no impact - positive or negative - whatsoever on neo-soul, an absolutely flourishing genre rn. It has had an impact on pop though, so if you want to blame this album for the tasteless pillaging and subsequent desecration of alt r&b, neo-soul and other adjacent genres, the soulless bastardizations that the pop zeitgeist has been pumping out (ie mac miller, tyler the creator, childish gambino) are definitely god awful, but real neo-soul outside of the mainstream hasn't lost an ounce of integrity
