Metal and I have had a bit of a falling out recently. I just don't care for a lot of it anymore. When I say this has placed itself among my all-time favourite albums in the genre I mean that this is the new blueprint for me. I love this thing.

Yeah, for me it's simply a change of aesthetic preference. I want something with a bit of variety, nuance, or in this case high-spirits. The constant anger of a lot of metalcore or the heavy darkness of black metal doesn't appeal to me much anymore.

First 2-3 listens and I'm liking what I've heard so far, might give it a 4. Geistesblitz is such a banger, but certainly not the only good song on here

Yeah, I'm quite surprised this song didn't get bigger (16k views on youtube). Not only it's a great song but it's also pretty accessible for wider audience and doesn't require one to be a proghead smh

This appears to be one of these albums that get better as you listen to it more. Loving Goddess of the River, Goddess Return and Makeshift Conquerors already.
To be honest, I just wish they had more of those slower, quieter moments because the ones that you can find are absolutely top notch
