it almost looks like it's supposed to be a joke, in the vein of post malone

The album art is sorta funny looking, I'm sure there's a reason for it because anyone knows with a name like Starmaker and its dreamy sound, he easily could have pulled any solar system/star pattern stock photo for the album art and people would have eaten it up.

Also, we have our first 2.5. shun the non-believer...

true but I always like a new artist putting up a portrait for their debut album art

Sure, and to be clear, I wasn't advocating that he should have pulled random galactic stock photos. Just pointing out that - perhaps - that would have been too expected. Generally not a fan of any mugshot artwork though, from this to James Blake.

Looks like 'ol Honey Harper and Orville Peck are gonna have to have themselves a water pistol duel here right quick to determine the future of contemporary cowboy.

Glad to see such a snowball of recs, this came out of nowhere. Great review Sowing.

This album is fantastic and I think the artwork suits it nicely. Tired Tower and Suzuki Dreams tied for best track for me. To throw more kindling into the comparison fire, I’d liken it to Lambchop being commissioned to soundtrack a classic Disney film

There’s just something about this artwork that reeks of awfulness. Will check the album because of the hype though
