The only moment where Toby's cleans make me cringe is the vocal run in Birth Pains because his voice cracks slightly. I don't understand; you had plenty of takes to perfect that, why did you have to go with that one?

I honestly think that adds to the song, can't really explain why tho

Mistakes are certainly human, but there's nothing with perfecting your art. If it was intentional, than that's fine. I've gotten used to crack in his voice over multiple listens and it doesn't bother me like it did the first few times I heard it.

there are a lot of reasons why he could have chosen that voicecrack to be left in there

•he had a cold/tired voice and just wanted to move on

•he thought it was the best take despite the crack

etc

Nice dig Bach

I've had this album on my computer for over 2 years and yet I always forget to burn a cd or have the patience to sit through the whole album while I'm on the computer because I rarely do that. But I do love what I've heard, fuck I need to get more blank cds.

something about this album rubs me the wrong way. the experimentation just seems forced. i haven't listened in a long time though, should try it again

Blue Ghost is probably the best introduction I've ever heard.
