Zak I was strongly considering Collectivity for a review too, it was between that, this one and INDEPENDENT. All of them rule but these are my faves probably.

I've lurked on this website for years but never really felt the need to make an account. Got way too hyped when I saw this review, though. Seeing them live was wild. It was at the Billboard Live in Osaka, really cool venue. They had these trippy visuals projecting on a screen in the center of the stage that synced with the music. Their playing was just unbelievably tight, couldn't believe how well they pulled it off

Agreed zak, seems that way. Also I'm pretty sure they almost never use any psychedelic lighting effects, not really their style.

Yeah I very much do. Fourth in my pie chart, 14%. Mostly older jazz though, but there are exceptions (these guys for instance).
