Well I think you're both wrong...Tranqyl this is super far from a five in terms of owning an identity, they re not creating nothing new, and for everything that seems honestly cool Deftones worship that comes in, they after mix it with something new kids all enjoy (pretty similar to boooom boom boooom from hiphop...don't know how to explain it better) ...yet they do some things Deftones themselves should be doing...
Johnny just get a fuckin grip and have fun with music instead of walking around by the heck of being different. Suddenly something superbubblegumpop that will die next month forever will come in and the dude starts 5ing it like a maniac.
at the end I could 4 it depending on how it goes with listens....nice reviews tho

Well said Johnny, except I didn't find it "so bad it's good," just "so bad....full stop."
Maybe one of these days I will just learn to give up on any release with the -core genre tag, regardless of the inflated Sput average.

I think this is a really solid release. The criticisms about the transitions being weak are very accurate, and are the major thing that holds this record back. There's a lot great moments here, nevertheless.
