Somehow missed this one during my high school Rush obsession, and I've been listening to this the most the past two weeks. Absolutely mindblowing, especially that first track.

Anyone else think the guitar riff at 5:14 of La Villa Strangiato sounds like a prototype of a Tool riff?

I never noticed that Bloma, but it's possible. Tool was influenced by Rush.

I think you should. Check first the other albums of their second phase, "A Farewell To Kings", "Permanent Waves" and "Moving Pictures.

Thanks, pal.

That’s their best run for sure. I’m incredibly fond of Signals and Grace Under Pressure as well, the incorporation of synths and new wave into their prog style was done super well on those two.
