For the best listening experience of this album, do the following:

1. On Spotify (or wherever), make "Music to be Murdered By" a playlist that you can edit.

2. Delete the following tracks from the album: Unaccommodating, Alfred (Interlude), In Too Deep, Leaving Heaven, Yah Yah, Stepdad (Intro), Never Love Again, Little Engine, Farewell, and Alfred (Outro).

3. Move the "Darkness" track to the end of the album, because otherwise it throws off the energy of the album. It's a story-driven song, kind of like Stan, that works great as an album-ender.

Follow these steps, and you have a solid 11-track album with great songs that go well together. Just pretend the original "Music to be Murdered By" doesn't exist, because it's trash. But the revised version I just outlined gets a solid 3.5 or 4 stars from me.

Darkness and I Will are both very good though

This is the most enjoyable thing he's made since The Eminem Show, tbh; feels more like a MMLP2 than MMLP2 did. Royce on 3 tracks to boot. Revival still somehow manages to get worse with each listen, it's hilarious that he still defends it.

Honestly kind of baffled by how some people think Godzilla is a good track

Though you're not cutting the songs that I would, but trimming this of its fat and cheese does it wonders

I'll have to try that edit, it sounds like what I did with Relapse and it's bonus tracks. The fat is more substantial than usual w/ this album, though imo.

album does benefit from a shorter runtime, also cut that Ed Sheeran track, it just sucks

Am I the only one who enjoys the bars on that song? It's not witty and it is certainly cringeworthy, but I still found it funny enough.

like most of Em's verses on this album, I'm kind of split between enjoying the verve behind it and wishing it was better

it's certainly not the worst Eminem's done
