DM AOTY is Teitanblood, obvs. This isn't as good as Starspawn. This is actually kinda disappointing. I thought they were going to get more unique with each album, not less.

Only natural people would be excited for the follow up.
I still prefer the production on Starspawn I think.

These guys we're insane opening for Immolation. They performed each song off this record except the third track.

Teitanblood dropped an unrivaled beast of an album, for sure. Blood Incantation typically sounds way more uplifting, so I'll probably return to this more frequently. Hard to compare these bands, though, as they couldn't be more different.
Also, let's not forget about Abyssal and Altarage. This has been a very good year for death metal.
