Never listened to these guys at all. And I’m not sure if I want to either ha. I like Leto as an actor though. I actually saw these guys when they were touring with Linkin Park and their show really didn’t do much for me.

album is pretty cheesy. Leto's ego ascension to cult godhood started here. Pretty repulsive.

completely agree. in fact, all of the criticisms people still give this album are completely justified and valid. that said, after coming back to this thing for the first time in about a year and looking at everything in the context of its 10 years of age and where i was and where i am now as a person, there's just something about it that really resonates with me now.

i don't know if i'm fully able to articulate and express the relationship and feelings i have towards this album. i still see all of the flaws now, but it goes beyond scores and being good or bad, if that makes sense? like i say, i used to really dislike this record, but a few great songs always kept me coming back to it, and thus, unintentionally, it has been with me through a lot of turbulent times. looking at it now, 10 years later, with a broader appreciation for music in general, the main beefs i had with this is war seem minute and superficial today.

I always liked the way how the text cuts off the tiger.

If you look hard enough the little black stripes right next to his actual eyes look like pupils and he has giant bulging eyes that are cut off by the text.

The first 30STM album doesn't completely suck. End of the Beginning is probably their lone good song.

93 Million Miles is the best song off of their debut. End of the Beginning is probably a close second.

And yeah 30STM were better when they were a space themed clone of Around the Fur

one of the worst bands I've heard live, they are terrible. maybe they were not as bad 10 years ago

Would be a way better album without the excessive and thus annoying use of fan choirs.
