"That song where McFats mean mugs the camera the whole time is kinda enjoyable."

Can confirm this song is The River.

I liked this band's first two albums but ye I agree. I guess Wage War had to be sacrificed to the metalcore gods in order to bring Sirens & Sailors back and I am A-OK with that.

I'm just really confused at what they were trying to sound like here. First they sounded like generic metalcore, then they went the BMTH route, then they tried to sound like Erra, then went pop punk...like this goes in so many directions that I have no idea what's going on.

Grave sounds like an incredibly shitty BMTH song, lead singles sound like Architects rip offs, and the rest is boring. The only song here I initially liked was Fury but even that one grew stale real quick. These guys have officially cemented themselves as genericore.

Sirens & Sailors are this band done correctly [2]

Steak dropping the truth. The only enjoyable part about Wage War is Briton being a good vocalist. He should find a more talented crew to play with haha.

You know who sounds like an Architects ripoff?

Architects. For the last six years.

The River is a prime example of why I'm not a Wage War fan. Even Blueprints has some better tracks than that, such as Basic Hate.
