this is honestly her worst album since her debut - very little to latch on to
reputation gets shat on and the hooks are way better than anything from this
ofc it's taylor so even at her worst she's still decent

The only way I listen to this anymore is by queuing up these songs:
Cruel Summer
Lover
The Archer
Cornelia Street
Death By a Thousand Cuts
Afterglow
Daylight

AmericanFlag, I am going to take your list and give this another listen, cus listening to the whole thing, there were gleams of promise, but too much annoying awful crap to form a positive opinion.
I did the same and listened through reputation once and felt the same, albeit for different reasons.
If she didnt write this or reputation she needs to go back to either writing her own stuff (speak now, Red) or have Max Martin make her another hit (1989). For some reason I feel like she had more of a writing hand in this one though.

cruel summer, thousand cuts, the archer, cornelia street and false god are all career highlights but i'm not enjoying the others anymore
might bump this down to a 3.5

@American well I tried. It was a tad bit better without all the crap, BUT without all the worse songs in the playlist, it was exposed that even the "best" songs on this album are all average. This Not a single track on this reaches anywhere near even the average cuts off of 1989 or Red.

when did Sowing lower this from a 4.0 to a 3.0? goddamnit now my sound-off is inaccurate yet again. stop changing your rating you knucklehead.

well, as much as I appreciate the suggestion, I felt it was due time to scale my ratings appropriately.
I overrated everything to the point where a 4 meant "decent", so I simply decided to wipe the slate clean.

just recent releases or did you overhaul all of your ratings? if the latter, that's some damn dedication.

I performed a ratings wipe on myself. So I had to re-rate everything I could think of. Inevitably I'm sure there's still tons out there I haven't re-rated yet, because I used to have over 3,000 albums scored now it's barely over 1,000.
