Definitely my favorite release since Marcus joined. I h a t e d all of the singles, but I think they fit better in the context of the album. Still prefer Adrian-era but I’m glad they didn’t release a total stinker this time.

"Freefall has Architects written all over it."

Oh yea that intro riff is very Architects-ish.

Marcus's vocals in the chorus too bro. He channels his inner Sam Carter for sure.

Yeah this is....rough. I'm 6 songs in and haven't heard anything I like. This might be my least favorite Northlane record ever. I might actually prefer Node and Mesmer over this and that's really saying something because I don't like either of those albums.

That's a shame cause this is infinitely better than both those albums.

Yeah I'm kinda bummed. I went into this really wanting to like it and so far the only song that I kinda enjoyed was Freefall.

Glad you guys enjoy it! But I'll probably never come back to this.

Fair opinion man c: yeah Freefall is awesome. Maybe the last leg of the album will offer more to you. They lean much more towards Mesmer's sound towards the end. (minus Vultures cause that ones heavy as balls)

i can't help but think that some of the "heaviness"/industrial dabbling feels rather tawdry and almost embarrassing to listen to

i actually like the clean moments but those are a minority

Yeah maybe. I'm going to finish it just to be sure, but halfway through it's just not hitting me. If I had to pick I would say probably Freefall and Jinn are the strongest so far. Kinda liked the weird breakdown like 3 mins to Jinn.

It's cool they experimented more on here, it just might not be my style.

This album honestly sounds desperate. It's quite possibly one of the worst three albums I've heard this decade.

Fascinated by the range of response. Holding up at a sterling 4/6 "well-written" too #sputnikmusic

Pretty good! Some soy moments that kinda sound like Chester at his worst but not bad. Some points absolutely bump and the production is really fluid! Talking heads basically summarizes the whole album
