Ok MarsKid I added it to the database. I'm interested what you think. Some may find it too simple, but I find it strikes a nice balance between groovy riffs and attention to detail in composition. And it's only 33 minutes.

Alright, not on par with this but it's better than new Tomb Mold. Thanks for the heads-up rec!

New Tomb Mold was disappointing.

It was good, nothing more and nothing less. I admittedly expected more from a release that seemed to be garnering significant excitement behind it.

Yeah I've jammed that. Despite it's short length it ended up feeling like a chore after a while. It's probably closer to a 3 in my book but I opted for higher.

I spied Flesh Consumed being talked about last page. Hymn for the Leeches is a hard jam.

It just didn't feature anything noteworthy or especially engaging. Just some standard death metal with some good riffs.

It has a slightly more mainstream approach, but I'm enjoying it.

Dude's dad enjoyed it...I don't know if that's good or bad...ahaha anyway, will put my heart&hears on it today!
I think this interview zaruyache posted is very complementary and personal to get the changes in their sound:

These guys clearly know what they're doing...the opener is one of my favorite songs from 2019.
What's more interesting is the extraordinary balance through the album, which is unusual in this genre.

^ Absolutely. The bass ended up being the hero of this record for me, was surprised he didn't get swallowed up by the massive sound around him. In fact, the production gave him quite a bit of room to maneuver.

Everything sounds great here, the synchronism between drums and guitar has particularly impressed me. And yeah, the production rules, it's super bold.
