Only issue I have here is it's almost too consistent - like nearly all of these 20 songs are of the exact same quality but there isn't one that reeeeeeeally stands out to me.

It featured higher than the new Will Oldham (correct), new Kozelek stuff (correct), and anyone else you care to mention - and he should be top of the 'serious' folk class this year, this is impeccable

'Gothamist' - never heard of. They also have Cass McCombs in 19th so this might be the doofcore publication I've been searching for.
